Guidelines for Contributors

1)  Participation is restricted to financial members of Cobram & District Artists Society Inc.

2)  Please be aware that your privacy is protected, personal contact details will not be displayed on-line and communication with potential purchasers will be relayed through officers of the club.

3)  You may withdraw any work from view at any time, your wishes will be implemented without delay.

4)  You are free to sell listed items elsewhere, in which case it is your responsibility to notify the President within seven days of the sale of any displayed work.
You may elect to have a sold work remain on your page, marked SOLD however, at least 75% of displayed items must be currently for sale.
A separate folio of previous work may be displayed (items you have previously sold or not-for-sale items from your own collection).  If you have been painting for many years you are invited to use this section to present a historical overview of your work.  The folio will be located in a clearly defined area at the foot of your For Sale page.

5)  There is presently a limit of ten for sale works per member.

6)  Short biographical notes and photo may be attached to your page.  Your notes should be written in the first person and submitted for editing.
If there is something you would like to say about a particular painting a special note can be attached to it.

7)  Photographs of art work.  Care is taken to prevent 'enhancement' of photos as follows:
The camera is manually calibrated for white balance in each session  to minimise colour distortion due to ambient light; digital sharpening is monitored to avoid over-sharpening; levels are adjusted manually to avoid increasing contrast; any apparent lens distortion is corrected.  Ordinary digital photos will not be used in the For Sale section of your page although we appreciate it may be necessary to use existing photos or old good quality prints in a Folio of Previous Work.
